A. The models that attach to the faucet have a bypass feature that will allow unfiltered water to flow through the tap. Faucet Mount - The faucet mount will tip back into the by-pass position. Q. Can you run hot water through the faucet mount, countertop, and undersink filters?

A. No! Filter only cold water. Running hot water through the filters will decrease the effectiveness of the filter.

Q. Will I damage my faucet mount, countertop or undersink filter if I don't run water through it for a period of time?

A. No. However, if the filter has not been used for a number of days, flush the filter well by running cold water through it for 3 minutes to reactivate the media in the filter.
